Rare 1826 Leather Antique Book Klopstock Memoirs Old NR

This is a rare and very interesting historical 1826 full-leather book entitled "Memoirs of Frederick and Margaret Klopstock," translated from the German, Printed for T. Cadell, Strand, London, with 242 pages, "Fragments in Prose and Verse: by the Late Miss Elizabeth Smith. -- in Two Volumes - Vol. II."

The pages are all very readable with only some light foxing/spots of damp staining that do not detract, there are no apparent tears, the pages appear to be without folds or markings, mostly still bound together, although the spine is peeled off and the covers are discolored, as shown, and entirely detached along with a small group of sheets at the front and back, although it could probably be rebound easily.  The brand new reprint alone sells for about $40, and I have seen a couple full leather copies from the 1800s sell for over $150.

Overall, a scarce and fascinating antique leather book that is over 180 years old.
