For Auction is a extremely Rare piece of Prang Pottery made by the Fulper Art Pottery Company of Flemington, NJ. The Shape is a bud Vase and it is done in a very pleasing two toned green glaze. The Bud Vase stands 6 1/2" tall and is 7/8" in diameter outside measurements at the top. The bottom has a diameter of 2 3/4" at its widest point.

The Vase has a petite graceful shape as I would consider it a Tapered Bud Vase Shape. It displays a deeper Pea Green under glaze that is accented with a wonderful Sea Foam outer Glaze. The under glaze can be seen in several places around the vase giving it a warm feeling al over.

The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece is signed on the bottom with the "Fulper" inside an Oval or Racetrack Ink Stamp Mark. This is known as shape number 010 in the Fulper Catalog pages. They called it a "Twig Stick Vase". The Racetrack signature mark would date this lovely Vase to have been made Circa, 1922-1928.

This a wonderful Arts and Crafts Shape in a very pleasing glaze. You Fulper Collectors know that Fulper is all about the Glaze and this one is a very pleasing one. It would look outstanding on that Stickley, Mission, Arts and Crafts style Bookcase.
