    This set of two polarizer filters reduces reflected polarized light in the Earth's atmosphere. The set consists of the threaded adapter body and two polarizing filters. One filter threads into the adapter while the second filter threads into an eyepiece. The eyepiece can be rotated in the adapter. This provides a variable reduction without having to remove the eyepiece.

    Also helpful for splitting binary stars by reducing glare and diffraction around the brighter star of the binary pair. On moon and planets it is invaluable for reducing irradiation and glare.

    The effectiveness of the filters depends on several factors, including: the aperture and focal length of the telescope, the magnification being used, and seeing conditions.

    Also works with all Meade and Orion telescopes.
