~ What a unique gift for the Jesse James and/or Old West collector in your family! ~
For your consideration is a new copy of an old magazine article, the Secret Code to the Jesse James Treasure, detailing how Jesse and Frank James hid $2,000,000.00 worth of Mexican gold in the Wichita Mountains of Indian Country (modern day Oklahoma).
The article goes in depth on several levels including a teapot upon which that Jesse carved a contract for he and his men concerning the return to retrieve the gold, and intricate code to decipher the location where they buried the treasure and both Frank James search for it decades later as well as Joe Hunter's discovery of some of the missing pieces of the maps and so on.
It is a fabulous read and covers six pages. The original article has faded over the years but I've scanned it and darkened the text for easier reading. This copy will come to you printed in black ink on white 20# bond paper. I'll leave the article unstapled so that you can choose to bind it or not. Included with this article is a weathered replica Wanted Poster, 8.5 x 11 inches, of the treasure master and outlaw himself, Jesse James.
The article and poster will be shipped in a stay-flat envelop so that the letter carrier doesn't bend these documents.
Other outlaws mentioned int his article include: J. Frank Dalton, Jesse James, Frank James, Frank Miller, George Overton, Rub Busse, Charles Jones, Cole Younger, Uncle George Payne, Roy Baxter and Mack Smith.
Places of note mentioned in the article: El Paso, Tarbone Mountain, Cache Creek, Fletcher, Keechi Hills, Cement, Belle Hedlund Farm, Wichita Mountains, Chisholm Trail, Rush Springs and Saddle Cave, amongst others.
There are also some entertaining advertisements from the mid-1960s like Medico Filter Pipes, the post office's propaganda to use the new Zip Code system and Seargeant's Worming Products for pet dogs.
Insurance is included in the the shipping fee.
Thanks for reading and good luck in bidding!
