Pre-1950 "AROUND THE WORLD"(?) Velvet Quilt Top-Full Sz

Hi!  Welcome to my auction!  You re viewing an absolutely gorgeous quilt top, measuring 78"x79", which when finished, should fit a full-size bed.  This top is done in 4-1/4" VELVET squares, forming what I believe to be the pattern called "THE TRIP AROUND THE WORLD" (not 100% positive, but I believe that's the name of the pattern) and is done in warm, inviting, plush colors including navy blue, dark green, khaki green and gold.  This top was done in the pre-1950's (making this AT LEAST a 60 YEAR OLD TOP!!) and was machine stitched, however you can definitely see that even tho it was machine stitched, you can tell it was done by a very old and earlier machine.  This belonged to my mother's mother and we have no idea how long she had had it, but we know it's AT LEAST been around since the '50's.  It's an absolutely GORGEOUS top and would bring added coziness,  warmth and patina to any bedroom, chair, etc. when finished. Condition of the unfinished top is excellent. The last picture shows the back of the top.  Any ???, please feel free to ask.
