"The key to a good picture is lots of light"

        Don't be fooled by similar looking products.  Much of the competition bundles a much lower  35 or 45 watt bulb.  These bulbs start off being grossly under powered.  They only put out about 100 or so watts of incandescent equivalent light.  Even worse, other sellers often include only one bulb in their  fixtures' configuration.   

      This will result in disappointing results. You will need to compensate with a wider F Stop setting.  As you may already know, a wider iris will cause your images to be out of focus where there is a narrower depth of field.  If your plan is to get a nice crisp product image (for internet purposes, as one example), forget it.  You'll wind up with a “milky” looking brownish coloration.  Many of these much less expensive bulbs are either higher (much more blue) or lower (much more yellowish) than the true daylight color temperature.  

   The key to all good photography, film and video making is lots of high quality flicker free light.  You'll get maximum bang for your buck in a high quality product by sticking with us.  I absolutely guarantee it.

It All Starts With A Great Bulb:

All Image West Fluorescent Lighting Systems are centered upon an extended life DynaFlo Fluorescent Bulb with built in Flicker Free Ballast. These may be either a Folded Fluorescent or Spiral in design.  What is important are three primary factors; first, that the bulbs put out a true Daylight Color Temperature (the same as outdoor sunlight, and the industry standard).

Second, that the bulbs are extended life bulbs with a life of up to10,000 hours.  Finally, that each bulb is a High Yield luminare.  That means that it puts out better (metered professionally) than 4.5 times the power draw at a robust CRI factor of better than 85.  Few other bulbs in the market can make these claims.  It is what sets us head and shoulders above the competition for overall light output, image quality and High Definition (HD) rendering.

Scientific metering ensures both color temperature along with yield measured at 4.5 times incandescent equivalent.
