The binding is tight with no loose or missing pages.  The cover shows some very slight corner wear.   There are no marks, highlights or dog ears on any of the pages. 64 pages of black & white photos, illustrations and color plates.  Published in 1988 this book is a look at the U.S. Army at the end of the cold war and just prior to the outbreak of the first Gulf War.
