This auction offers several things from the Military that are out of the Vietnam War Era. In fact, the estate from which the items came was for an individual that served in that war. Included is a compass that is well used but still in good working order. It is marked on the back "Corps Of Engineers / U.S. Army / Manufactured By Superior Magneto Corp. LI City N.Y. / U.S.A.". It measures 2 3/16" in diameter and about 15/16" deep. I believe it is made to wear with a strap around the wrist. Next is an official U.S. Army whistle. It is marked on the side "U.S. G.P.I. 1971" and measures about 2 3/8" long. Also included is a deck of survival cards that were specifically made for the Southeast Asia area. While the outer box shows significant wear, the contents are mint and still sealed in the original cellophane. They measure 2 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" long. Lastly, is an Individual Combat Book. It is copyrighted in 1960, still in nice condition and has 78 pages of everything a soldier needs to know. This is a nice lot of things for the collector of military things. Thanks for your interest in my auction.
