My Great Aunt " Anna Marie" spent most of her time studying and practicing WITCHCRAFT. She was a 5th generation witch. She was a very gifted witch that performed her binding spells during a full moon which made them most powerful. She and her coven members were very gifted with binding spells, genies and fairies ~Magick! She acquired most of her Jewelry from a NEW YORK JEWELER and a coven member which was a great silversmith. She lived in upper New York State. She placed SPELLS FOR MONEY AND GOOD FORTUNE ~GOOD HEALTH AND FERTILITY~ LOVE AND POWERFUL SPELLS OF SPIRITUAL SEXUALITY on the different pieces of Jewelry. She left her Jewelry and Journal telling of the Spells, Magick and Blessings on the many pieces and designated what spell went with each piece. This has been an experience for me to sort out and make sure I list the correct spell that was placed on each and every item. SHE LEFT 3 SAFETY DEPOSIT BOXES FULL OF THIS NEW JEWELRY & She loved casting spells on the many pieces of Jewelry items she purchased. SHE DEVOTED HER TIME TO HELPING OTHER PEOPLE. This item is one of my Great Anna Marie's pieces that she spelled. The individuals that are fortunate enough to receive one of her pieces of jewelry will be very blessed.

Magick is the use, by people, of any unnatural or superhuman power used to control actions. Magick may seem to get results. Since the beginning of the world people have practiced magick. It wasn't until the 1600's when scientists were able to really discover why events that were supposed to be caused by magick were really caused. Nowadays people still do magick. Fortune tellers and clairvoyants use magick to tell horoscopes and predict a person's future.

Magick dates back to 50,000 B.C. when cavemen performed rituals like burying cave bears as a sacrifice. The cavemen thought that would help them in hunting. In ancient Egypt over 5000 years ago, people used amulets and trinkets to help protect them from evil forces. In the Middle Ages, all Europeans believed in magic. There were people called alchemists who believed in the philosopher's stone, a magic substance that changed any material into gold. In the present, magic still exists. People all over the world continue to practice magic in the form of voodoo, witchcraft, and horoscopes. When practicing magick there are certain objects, words, and actions that are needed or spoken to perform the magick. Usually, the person performing the spell will say a series of words in a special sequence. That is called an incantation or a spell. To accompany the magic words, the person will do some kind of action to go along with the words he/she said. Magick objects like plants, stones, and wands are used. Any such okbject is called a fetish. The magick objects are believed to work because a spirit supposedly lives inside of it.

Anthropologists classify magic as either homeopathic or contagious according to its basic principle. Others divide magic into black magic and white magic. Black magic is portrayed as hurtful magic and white magic as good magic. In homeopathic magic, the person performing the spell will act out what he wants to happen. They also use a model or replica of what they want to affect. Voodoo magicians and witches use homeopathic magic. Contagious magic comes from the belief that after a person has had contact with certain things, they will continue to influence that person. Common examples of contagious magic involve things like fingernails or hair that someone has lost.

People turn to magic as a form of help. For example people use charms to help them with something. If they succeed, then they will say that the charm helped them. Many people believe in magic because they feel the need to believe in something. They resort to magic when they feel uncomfortable and uncertain.

Long ago, people believed highly in magic and witches. People looked for someone to blame when a terrible event happened. They would single out a peculiar person - mostly a woman - and say the woman, having been given powers from the devil, was responsible for the tragedy. Women accused of witchcraft were called witches and the men accused of witchcraft were called warlocks. Witches and warlocks were believed to be in league with the devil and possess satanic powers. They were thought to be able to fly on broomsticks and transfigure themselves. Often innocent people were tortured for what they had supposedly done and were forced to confess even if they were innocent.

Magick is considered the most powerful science in the world, when a Wizard, Witch or Practitioner successfully applies its principles they can effect change within the universe in attunement with his or her will.

I believe that magick is indeed a very personal thing, and this is one of the main reasons that I encourage all to put forth as much energy into their desire as possible, in a positive way of course and not in an obsessive manner.

When I tell someone to stay focused, what I am really trying to stress is the need for them to direct their energy towards the goal that they wish to achieve or accomplish. In essence staying focused on the bottom line will indeed allow them to effect change within their own lives. (Mental Energy=Mental Magick)

There are three planes on which magic works in the universe, the physical, astral, and mental planes. As living, breathing residents of earth we inhabit all three of these planes simultaneously, our physical bodies, our soul and our spiritual self. The physical plane can best be described as the material plane where our body actually resides, and the astral plane is where our astral body or our soul resides, and the astral is sometimes called the formative plane, this is where ideas are formed.
