We use USPS & UPS as our shipping methods. Please note that we do not guarantee delivery by a specific date. The shipping time frames stated for each of our shipping options is the estimated number of days it will take for you to receive your order after your order leaves our warehouse (time of shipment) and not the number of days after you place your order. The day your order ships does NOT count as a "shipping day". Additionally, our shippers do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or National Holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday After Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years Day). These do not count as shipping days. While in most cases we are able to ship within 1 or 2 business days of when the order is placed, we can not guarantee it. "Business Days" are defined as weekdays, Monday-Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
Not applicable for:
- International Orders
- Orders placed between Oct 1st - Oct 30st. May require 24-48 hours, of actual business days, to process.
- Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays
- Orders for Mascots, large props, or Special order items
Please note: The shipping time that you have chosen is JUST that. The allotment of business days it can take to be delivered to you once the item has shipped. Only Express & Premium Shipping options are available to for delivery to addresses in Alaska & Hawaii
If I place my order today, when will I receive it?
Most domestic orders will ship within 1 business day from the time the order is placed. In some rare instances, it may take up to 3 business days (business days are weekdays, Monday-Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays) for processing AFTER you place your order BEFORE it will ship. After processing time, shipping time will be based on the delivery option you selected. Ship times vary and do not have a guaranteed delivery date. For example, an order for Priority Shipping will take 4-5 days (including processing time) to get to you. If you need your order in less than 2 days, please select Express Shipping to see if it's possible for us to deliver your order in time. (8am-5pm Mon-Fri PST)
How do I receive my order?
The carrier we choose to ship your order is based on the shipping option you select and your physical address. We make every effort to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible within the Shipping method chosen.
Where will Hullabaloo Costumes ship my order?
We ship your order to the shipping address that you provide. Please do not list a Post Office Box (PO Box) as UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box and the shipment of your item will be delayed. We currently ship globally.
Will I have to sign for my package, or will it be left without a signature?
UPS does not ordinarily require a signature (usually they just leave it at the door), but they may require one if they (at their sole discretion) deem the locale unsafe for delivery without a signature.
Note: Hullabaloo Costumes is not responsible for packages that are lost,stolen, or otherwise destroyed (e.g., bad weather, dog chewing it, so forth) after being delivered. So if you have any concerns about this occurring, we suggest you require a signature or use your work as the shipping address.
How do I know which shipping method to select?
We currently offer 3 different shipping options for domestic orders depending on the carrier:
- Standard (7-9 business days)
- Expedited (3-6 business days)
- Overnight (2-3 business days)
How are shipping and handling charges determined?
Domestic shipping and handling rates are determined by:
- The total weight of all the merchandise ordered. (most items are considered to be 1lb or more each, as our shippers do not allow calculations based on fractions of a pound. Shipping and handling charges for orders over 20lbs are calculated at a reduced rate.)

Int'l Customs and Import Duties
Attention: All Int'l Orders will have VAT, Duty and possibly other Fees due upon delivery.
Your order most likely will be subject to VAT, import duties and/or disbursement fees, which are levied once your package reaches your country. Hullabaloo Costumes ships your package DDU, "duties and taxes unpaid", and does not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If you do incur these additional charges, they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs.
Hullabaloo Costumes will not accept returns or issue credits due to a customer refusing the package due to VAT or other charges due on delivery. Please be sure you understand your potential additional charges before you order. For more information regarding your country's custom policies, please contact your local customs office. Payment Options
Payment is accepted by PayPal, Visa, or Mastercard only and funds are transferred in US Dollars. Extra fees may be assessed to your purchase by your card issuing bank for international purchases or currency conversion. Bill to and ship to addresses must be within the same country.

Int'l Delivery Options and Times
All Int'l shipments sent via USPS Priority Int'l. Orders usually leave our warehouse within 5 business day. Business days are Monday-Friday and do not include Saturdays, Sundays or standard US or UK holidays. In other words, you should expect delivery of your order to your door (assuming no customs delays which are beyond our control) within 12-16 business days of when you place your order. *Hullabaloo Costumes is not responsible for packages delayed by customs.

Hullabaloo Costumes wants our customers to have a safe & pleasant shopping experience. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we have a fair return policy for you. Most items can be returned as long as you initiate & post mark your return within 7 days from Delivery Date. However, you have 14 days from the delivery date to actually return the item to our possession.
- Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and do NOT include shipping and handling charges.
- If your order was shipped for free, we will refund your order minus out actual cost of postage.
- Item(s) being returnedmust be new, unused and in their original packaging with all accessories. Any return received with missing items or without original packaging will not be refunded.
- Item(s) must be returned to us via a traceable shipping method with a delivery confirmationwith all shipping costs pre-paid.
Returns will incur a 40% restocking fee for the following reasons:
- Item(s) postmarked between 8 & 14 days from when you received it
- Items refused upon delivery or undeliverable packages
- If 3 or more items from any single order is returned
Returns postmarked & returned to us past 14 days will be refused, destroyed, & will not be eligible for any refund at all.
Returns are generally processed within one week of receiving the product back. During Halloween season (October and November) this process may take up to 4 weeks.
The Following Items Are NEVER Returnable:
- Special Ordered Items - including all Mascots, and all individual items over $200.
- Props that require special delivery.
- Any item that has been worn, used, or altered.
- Supplies & Decorations
- Any & all International orders.
The following items are ONLY returnable if they are in their unopened, original packaging. Items must not have been worn, used or altered in any way.
- Undergarments, Socks and stockings, Eyelashes.
- Shoes & Boots (Does not apply to shoe covers, boot tops, or costume shoes designed for indoor use only or one time wear). Please make sure that your shoes fit and are comfortable before you use them. Shoes that show obvious wear or are missing the original packaging are not refundable.
- Wigs, beards, facial hair, any other artificial hair, prosthetics, cosmetics, fangs or any other fake teeth. Products in zip-lock bag style packaging or any bag/box that is not factory sealed is NOT returnable.
- Any item that has been worn, used or altered.
Please note:
- Please double-check that you have included all of the costume and packaging prior to mailing your return to our warehouse. This includesunauthorized refused upon delivery packages.
- Any orders returned without prior authorization will be considered anunauthorized return and we are not responsible for refunding the order& are not acceptable.
- The Return Authorization Number (RA#) must be obtained within 7 days ofdelivery date & written clearly on the outside of the box.
- If you are returning an item because of a size issue, please make sure you check the costume itself and not rely on the label on the outside packaging. It is not unusual for a manufacturer to use the samelabeling/packaging for all size costumes. In addition, it is possible that the size of the costume is CORRECT while the package labeling is incorrect.
- Costume styles (colors and fabrics) are subject to change withoutnotice, due to the manufacturer's production. These changes, no matter how slight, are beyond our control. We do our best to catch these issues before they arise however, the manufacturers do not always notify us of these variations. We do reflect any changes in the website descriptions and images as soon as we become aware of them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding.
- If a refund is denied based on the above criteria, we will NOT automatically call and/or return the item to you. Items that are denied a refund are held for 30 days and only returned if the customer remits payment for the applicable return shipping fees.
- Damaged or defective items - notify us immediately and we will have a replacement item of the exact same type, color, & size shipped out to you within 48 hours. If you need the correct item ASAP, repurchase through our site, communicate your actions and we'll accept your return. Once the returned item is received we will refund. your original purchasing method.
- Returning Shoes? - Do not use the original shoe box as the shipping box. We will consider it an unauthorized return.
Exchange Guidelines:
If you need a different size or a different costume, you must place a new order for the needed replacement item(s), and initiate a return for the item(s) you have already received. This process is required due to the fact that the desired item(s) may be out of stock by the time we receive your return. This procedure also ensures that you receive your replacement item(s) quickly. All appropriate policies apply to all returned items.
*Example: You ordered a size small but need a size medium. You would initiate a return for the small, and then place a new order for the desired medium, which will ship from our warehouse immediately. OnceHullabaloo Costumesreceives the returned small in the mail, we will return the cost of the costume to the credit card you originally used during checkout. You are responsible for the return shipping on the small, and for the new shipping on the medium.
