To grow these perrenials prepare your flower bed's (average to good) soil, and then scatter seeds on top. Cover with less than one quarter of an inch of potting soil or dirt on top, and water in seeds in fall or spring. Plants will remain for the following seasons, even if you cut back all of the dead foliage/stalks. The roots will send up new growth in the spring. Plant in full sun!
