COINS ARE NOT AS DARK AS SCAN SHOWS NICE 1804 Bust $1 replica coin! Coin has small copy stamp reverse. The 1804 $1 is not only America's rarest coin it was also the 1st coin to sell for over 1 million!!(& eventually 4 million!!). The 1804 $1 ,known as the king of American coins, has only 15 examples known to exist in the world today! Dated 1804 none of these coins were actually struck until 1834 when the US Dept. of State decided that coins w/ the unusual date would make excellent gifts to certain rulers in the Orient in exchange for trade advantages. New dies were produced & the 1804 $1 was created! This is an exceptionally nice copy of the king of silver $1's 1804. It has been painstakingly reproduced. The exact details of the original design has been preserved. Struck in some kind of white metal it looks really close to the real thing!! Its a bu coin & all details are indenticle except is has a small stamp of "copy" on the rev. which is well hidden in the middle on the shield.
