Important Information We are an authorized dealer for all new equipment that we sell. We do follow manufacturer rules and guidelines with respect to the MSRP and other dealer territories. If the item you bid on/ purchase is in another dealer territory, we will refund your money and explain this to you via email. We have been in the industry since 1990, unlike some sellers on eBay - we will be here next year to help. Know who you are buying from, there are some legitimate dealers on eBay and their are some people that have no business selling this equipment.
We know and understand the equipment we sell, we service and maintain items for homes, business all the way to major universities. We are not a home body selling fitness equipment on eBay this week, car stereos next week, etc. We are a SPECIALTY store – period.
All new equipment comes the full mfg. warranty, warranty cards must be completed and sent in asap or as instructed by the mfg with the item information at receipt.
Unless otherwise stated, used equipment is sold as is. This equipment is inspected before shipping and in working condition. If there is any issue with the equipment while arranging for shipment, we will contact you at once and let you know.
To keep the cost low for both us and you, many items are shipped directly from one of our manufacturers. Unfortunately we do not have real-time access to inventory levels and movement. Please see our policies for backorder and more below. |

15 Day Money Back Guarantee and Return Policy
1. Return Policy: If you have changed your mind within 15 days from the date of the payment to us, you can return the merchandise. You pay the freight to & from. A minimum restocking fee of 20% will be charged to cover the repacking & repainting, if the boxes are opened or product has been used. All refunds (minus all shipping costs) will be refunded in the same manor as the initial payment to us (i.e.. if you paid using PayPal, we will issue a PayPal refund to the same email address that was used for payment to us).
2. Any refunds on items offering shipping included will be: The cost you paid minus the actual shipping charges and any restocking fee if applicable as stated in part 1 of this policy.
3. Shipping charges for any approved returns will be prepaid by you back to us as stated in part 1 of this policy.
4. No refunds will be given until all items have been received at the warehouse and inspected.
5. Contact us BEFORE RETURNING ANY MERCHANDISE: We will inform you on what action to take. Direct all return emails to amfitness@aol.com.
6. Tracking Information: When available, we email a tracking # as soon as we receive it. Many times we do not receive the tracking info until after you have received your item.
7. USPS Shipments. All items shipped USPS are shipped with Confirmation of Delivery at no charge. This does not insure, track our guarantee that you will receive the item. This only guarantees that the item was dropped off at a local USPS facility. If you do not ask for or purchase insurance - we can not be held liable for lost, delayed or damage items. Insurance CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED before the item is mailed.

FREIGHT INFORMATION
· SHIPPING TIME: Will vary from three days to three weeks depending upon the availability of the product, alterations and manufacturing. Most items will be shipped within seven business days. When possible, items are shipped from our retail store. Please note, business days do not include weekends or holidays. If you pay for an item after 5:00 pm EST, the next day is counted as business day number one.
· Packages will be shipped through Ground, USPS or Common Carrier depending upon the size & weight of the package.
· SHIPPING VIA COMMON CARRIER: Any item shipped by common carrier will be curbside service. That means that you are responsible for getting the products off of the truck. Make sure that you have plenty of help to offload your equipment as most of the items are very heavy and weigh several hundred pounds. Door service can be obtained for a fee provided by the shipping company. Fees will vary and will be payable to the driver at the time of service. To help avoid any problems, please notify us before making a purchase of your need for door service.
· DO NOT SIGN THE RECEIPTS IF THE CRATES OR BOXES ARE DAMAGED
· DESCRIBE THE DAMAGES WITH YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE TRUCKERS BILL OF LADING.

· MISSING PARTS: Will be shipped to your address by Fed Exp. (freight prepaid) as soon as possible. YOUR SATISFACTION IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US.
· IN THE EVENT OF BACKORDER: American Fitness will notify you by email or phone stating the backorder status and the time frame for the expected arrival of your merchandise. AT THAT TIME IT WILL BE YOUR CHOICE TO WAIT FOR THE ITEM, RECEIVE A FULL REFUND or we may provide a choice for an alternate item for your approval. If you do not want the alternate item, we will refund your money or place you on the backorder list.

IMPORTANT:
All MERCHANDISE IS CAREFULLY PACKED AND THOROUGHLY INSPECTED BEFORE LEAVING OUR STORE OR THE FACTORY. RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITS SAFE DELIVERY WAS ASSUMED BY THE CARRIER UPON ACCEPTANCE OF THE SHIPMENT. CLAIMS FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE SUSTAINED IN TRANSIT MUST, THEREFORE, BE MADE UPON THE CARRIER AS FOLLOWS.
CONCEALED LOSS OR DAMAGE: CONCEALED LOSS OR DAMAGE MEANS LOSS OR DAMAGE WHICH DOES NOT BECOME APPARENT UNTIL THE MERCHANDISE HAS BEEN UNPACKED. THE CONTENTS MAY BE DAMAGED IN TRANSIT DUE TO ROUGH HANDLING EVEN THOUGH THE CARTON MAY NOT SHOW EXTREME DAMAGE. WHEN THE DAMAGE IS DISCOVERED UPON UNPACKING, MAKE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR INSPECTION BY THE CARRIER'S AGENT WITHIN FIFTEEN SAYS OF DELIVERY DATE. THEN FILE A CLAIM WITH THE CARRIER SINCE SUCH DAMAGE IS THE CARRIER'S RESPONSIBILITY. BY FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY, WE GUARANTEE OUR FULL SUPPORT OF YOUR CLAIMS TO PROTECT AGAINST LOSS FROM CONCEALED DAMAGE.
VISIBLE LOSS OR DAMAGE: ANY EXTERNAL EVIDENCE OF LOSS OR DAMAGE MUST BE NOTED ON THE FREIGHT BILL OR EXPRESS RECEIPT, AND SIGNED BY THE CARRIER'S AGENT. FAILURE TO ADEQUATELY DESCRIBE SUCH EXTERNAL EVIDENCE OF LOSS OR DAMAGE MAY RESULT IN THE CARRIER REFUSING TO HONOR A DAMAGE CLAIM. THE FORM REQUIRED TO FILE SUCH A CLAIM WILL BE SUPPLIED BY THE CARRIER.
DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED MERCHANDISE TO US, document the shipping documents – especially where you sign – that the item has or may be damaged. Contact us as soon as possible, but within two (2) days of receipt.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF OR DESTROY PACKING MATERIAL OR BOXES UNTIL THE ITEM IS FULLY ASSEMBLED AND OPERATING CORRECTLY.
