This is a signed Limbert rocking chair with solid wood seat. The chair has been totally restored, reglued and refinished with added color and several coats of shellac. It also has a repair to the right arm and the solid wood seat (see the 5th photo down). The restoration process included total disassembly of the chair with the original pegs removed and saved if possible for reassembly. The chairs mortise and tenon joints are cleaned of old hide glue and reglued and pinned with the original or new white oak pins. It is now as solid as the day it originally left the factory and ready for another 100 years of use. It measures 31 1/2" at the back, 26" at the widest part of the arms and the seat is 19" deep.

Any person who has not paid for item will be blocked from future purchases and will be given negative feedback. Any item returned without our express permission or due to non-delivery to a correct address will not be accepted and/or is subject to a 20% restocking charge. Shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstances. ONCE ITEM IS SHIPPED WE ARE NO LONGER RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGE. It is up to you to be on the alert for your package. Returns accepted only for items with errors in the description. The purchaser must notify the seller within 3 days of receiving the item. The item returned must be received in same condition sent.
