Hape Anamalz Hippopotamus  HAP-AHP01

Characteristics: The hippopotamus is an amphibious animal. What does that mean? It means he lives in the water as much as he lives on the land. He has two huge teeth mounted on the bottom jaw of his massive mouth which give him his ‘just say cheese look’ when he has his picture taken.

Height: A shave less than 1.80 meters or 6ft in height, the hippo is more recognized for its length of body at 2.7 meters, that is 9ft. It almost has the dimensions of a mini bus.

Weight: Hippo weighs up to 1.5 tonnes. That is nearly the weight of a mini bus!

Where they live: In sub-Saharan Africa.

What they eat: They eat grass that grows around their water habitat
