You've all seen the pins or rings that are made for moms and grandmoms that are set with birthstones for each of the lady's children or grandchildren...great ideas that are beloved of Moms of every generation.   This chaplet is made on the same idea - only it's great for fathers and grandfathers, too, because they don't wear it, they carry it and pray with it - something much more to their liking!!

The picture shows how a Mother's Chaplet might look - with a single Our Father bead of your choice - this one has a silver toned bead, but you could choose a crystal or perhaps the birthstone of the person's spouse.  The next ten beads can be any combination - in any order you choose - of 8mm faceted and fire-polished glass beads.  All of the birthstone colors are available - just give us the birth months you need, and we will fill in the rest with clear crystal or whatever colored bead you desire.  If you don't need the beads in any particular order Joan will just set them in a pleasing combination - to a limit of 10 (11 with the Our Father bead).  The crucifix will be just like the one you see here, and the nickel silver medal can be the saint of your choice, depending upon what we have available.   If you would like us to make a suggestion for the Saint, just ask.  It may be a saint or devotional medal that stands for your Mom's or Dad's occupation, hobby, or particular interest; your Mom's or Dad's namesake, or just a favorite saint.   Allow 5 business days for Joan to make it.  What a great, meaningful and totally unexpected gift for Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day or Birthdays for your parents or grandparents!

* Not sure which Saint's medal to get?  I can make a suggestion - tell me something about the recipient - her occupation, hobbies, special interests or ancestry and we can find the saint or devotion to fit.  It doesn't have to be a saint either, we have many different medals that cover different Marian Devotions, such as Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Our Lady of Sorrows - to name just a few.  We also have Ecce Homo, Holy Spirit, Holy Family, and more.  We have over 135 medals available; please give us a first and second choice.   (We are limited to oxidized silver (nickel silver) medals; if you would like a sterling silver medal; we can obtain one in just about any Saint's name, however, you must add $30 to the cost of the chaplet and wait an additional 3 weeks for the chaplet.)
