CHRISTMAS SHOPPING


is the title of the 1996 Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate, featuring a Copenhagen street scene, with a man lighting the gas street lamps after dark. By his side are two small children, and Christmas shoppers are seen further down the street, carrying packages.

The scene is embossed on Danish porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze. Diameter just over 7 inches, mint condition, with original box and papers. Old dealer stock; brand new in box; never displayed. EXCELLENT CONDITION (no chips, cracks, or repairs), and FIRST QUALITY(no scratch through the trademark).
