Fujitsu Lifebook E-7010 laptop for parts or repair (lot 2685)
WELCOME
to our warehouse clearance sale. Over the next several weeks, we will
be listing thousands of laptops and parts from our warehouse
liquidation. Most of the parts are tested and described. But, some
are not. We have built our reputation over 10 years on eBay as an
honest seller. We describe everything as accurately as possible and do
NOT try to mislead anyone. If an item is known or believed to be bad,
we say so. Other sellers will just say "untested." We don't cheat
anyone. But, by the same token, we expect the same from you. Many
buyers try to return their own non-working parts. Because of that,
we've developed several ways of imaging and marketing what we sell. We
use hidden inks, security tapes, special markings, etc.
Anyway,
back to the sale. All of these parts are items we have accumulated
over the years from our laptop retail business. Most of the parts were
saved for local customer usage only (not made available over the web).
However, over the years, many got buried in the back of the storage
room and some were relegated to the warehouse. Nowadays, not too many
local customers use these older laptop parts. Besides, we no longer
have our retail storefront.
So,
we will be liquidating everything. If you look through all of our
items, you may see a laptop missing this part or that. Then, you may
see that same part in a separate auction. We try hard not to do that
but with the huge volume of items, it is inevitable. We wont be able
to cancel 1 auction to combine the parts with another, but if you want
both, we offer combined shipping AND CAN EVEN INSTALL OR MERGE ITEMS
FOR YOU AT NO CHARGE! The good news is that, because listing
everything will take 1-3 months, we may have the items but have not yet
listed it. In that case, we'd be happy to make changes for you. JUST
INQUIRE ABOUT AVAILABILITY!
If
you don't see a Fujitsu or NEC part (the bulk of our business) but see
related items, feel free to ask. Most of our parts are from older
laptops (more than 3-4 years old) and many go back to the older Intel
486 processors (prior to Pentium chips). We have a surplus of AC
Adapters, floppy drives, screens, keyboards and other components that
we were saving over the years. We have some Hard Drive caddies and
some cables. Typically, the hard drives, caddies/cables and cd/dvd
drives were the highest in demand. So, we don't have a ton of them.
For
payment and shipping, please note our payment terms (below) and that
shipping on all of these items will be actual shipping charges. We
will ship in flat-rate USPS boxes, where available. Because of the
size limitations of the box, not everything can fit inside. And, in
some cases, we wont be able to save much on combined shipping. If you
are close to the Mid-Atlantic region, we can ship in regular boxes for
cheaper than their flat-rate. And, for heavy items, we will ship by
FedEx Ground. If you have a FedEx or UPS account and prefer to ship
using your own account/discount, that is fine, too! Just let us know when you checkout.
This lot is for a non-working Fujitsu Lifebook E-7010 laptop. It was noted that it would power up sometimes but I was NEVER able to get it to do so. It has been sitting for a while and the extra (modular bay) drives have been misplaced. All that is included is the battery and a modular bay battery (2 simultaneous batteries). The cd/dvd/floppy is not included, nor is the AC adapter. The unit is in-tact (not taken apart or stipped). Only the aforementioned external parts are missing. Any internal parts are included (40g hard drive, ram, etc.). The unit has a XP Home COA and I would assume the data is still on the hard drive.
This unit has a Pentium 4 1.8Ghz processor and 512 megs of RAM but I can't say for sure if they are functional. My guess is that either the motherboard or the CPU is bad. The ram is likely good. The screen looks like new and the rest of the unit looks like new.
This unit is complete with all doors and covers and is in excellent condition. NOTE THAT THESE BATTERIES ARE OLD AND MAY NOT HOLD A CHARGE FOR LONG, IF AT ALL.

SHIPPING
For shipping, I offer Priority Mail flat rate boxes ($10.35), Priority Mail large flat-rate boxes ($13.95), regular Priority Mail, Parcel Post, and FedEx/UPS ground. For the latter options, please refer to thebelow shipping calculator. It will provide the cost for your zip code.
Insurance, if not purchased, is the buyer's risk and choice. The buyer
assumes risk of loss or damage once shipped IF insurance is not
purchase. International buyers please be aware that insurance is not
available to many destinations worldwide.
You should note that the options in the shipping calculator (below) are for regular boxes that should properly protect the laptop. For those of you who are more cost-conscious, I offer the aforementioned flat-rate services. The large flat rate box is a hair thicker than the regular flat-rate box, but doesn't really offer much more in the area of protection. So, I would recommend the regular flat rate box or the other options. If you are close to the mid-atlantic region, regular postal rates may be the same or cheaper than the flat-rate options.I am not charging any shipping surcharges for all of my items in this clearance category (orange background). Please keep this in mind when bidding. Also keep in mind that while I do combine shipping, it will only save you money if I can ship the additional items in the same box. Finally, if you'd like to have your clearance items (listings with orange backgrounds) shipped to your FedEx or UPS account, there is no problem or fee to do so. Please inquire about combining purchases with my regular listings (light blue backgrounds).
