 Ok Pittsburgh Pirates Fans...I have a one-of-a-kind T-Shirt and matching eye-patch up for auction!!!!   You won't find this in any store....This shirt is our own....born out of the torment of being a long-time Pittsburgh Pirates fan:)

The front of the shirt says...."So bad, I can only watch with one eye".   The back  "17 Seasons".
 
Want to show your support for  our favorite local team, but finding it hard to find the silver lining?   Hard to find something to cheer about?   Starting to think there is no light at the end of the tunnel?   Running out of hope  and patience? 
 
Well, we are not  fair weather fans and we know we are not alone....It's been 17 long seasons since we've had a winning record!   And our beloved Pirates will unfortunately go down in history....Yes, you heard that right.   This is a record year for them, we are the lucky fans who get to see our team go down in record books as having the most consecutive losing seasons!
 
Since the Pirates winning ways ended in the early 90's...we've seen managers come and go, had different owners, deconstructed and reconstructed our teams, built a beautiful new ball park....but, we have not had a team that can do better than .500!   All we can do is cry in our beers and wait....and maybe poke a little fun at our beloved team while we wait to see what next year brings.
 
Just as New Orleans had the “Aints”, and Cincinnati has the “Bungals”, Pittsburgh fans deserve to celebrate the 17 years of losing by demonstrating their sarcastic spirit during the most meaningful stretch of September games in recent memory.  
 
Whether you may be attending a local game in the "Burgh" or  attending a game where our Pirates are playing, This is the perfect "T" to wear to a game for the remainder of the 2009 baseball season.  
 
Take a good look at our original shirt and patch and proudly take part in the Pirates recording-breaking year!
