Acquerello Portofino is a hot-press paper that has a beautiful, silky smooth surface. Free from optical brighteners, it features one of the strongest surfaces ever created for painting with watercolors. Portofino is designed specifically for wet media, such as watercolor, gouache, acrylics, and ink, but yields excellent results with drawing media, such as graphite, colored pencils, pastels, charcoal, chalks and crayons. Also great for mixed media, pyrography (woodburning or pokerwork) and collage. It is mouldmade by the Magnani mill in Italy from 100% cotton fiber, and has a neutral pH. Portofino paper is acid-free and chlorine-free, with a smooth, hot-pressed surface. 140 lb (300 gsm). You get 20 ready to use cards, perfectly sized for ATCs, ACEOs or Sketch Cards (2-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches). They all have one thing in common--they are original art that measures 2-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches. ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards, and they are usually traded to other artists. Sketch cards are trading cards with a blank area that have hand-drawn original art on them. ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. ACEOs and Sketch Cards are usually sold. They are a rapidly growing hobby and tons of fun to collect or to make! |
