Disclaimers
Who and What is Mall-e dot net:
Mall-e dot net is our online business for
what was our 3,000 sq ft store called
Premier Video in Clarksville Indiana.
Premier Video was 5 minutes to the bridge
that crossed from Jeffersonville in southern
Indiana to Louisville Kentucky.
Mall-e dot net, as was Premier Video, is a
family owned business which prides itself on
its reputation for delivering great
merchandise at prices which has always
brought our customers back. Premier Video
started with 600 Dvd movies, 200 video games
and approximately 6 of the older Video game
systems like the Nintendo 64 and the
Playstation 1. After some 3 years, only 36
months later, Mall-e dot net has over 14,000
Dvd movies and over 10,000 different types
of video games. Included also, is
approximately some $250,000 worth of other
merchandise because of our major
"Buy-Sell-Trade" business. This brought in
everything from computers and all types of
electronics to tools, bicycles and even a
new high dollar vacuum cleaner. Everything
purchased by the business, including the
addition of a Tanning Salon which we added
to our store with 6 new age tanning beds was
bought and paid for by the stores profits.
While the storefront business had to close
so we can care for another family member
failing in health, we still continue buying
new merchandise regularly so we can continue
to feed our new online store bringing you
what you want, at the prices you expect.
Returns - Refunds:
*All sales are final which means, if you
win one of our Auctions and/or purchase an
item from our e-bay store and decide you
don't want it, and/or you don't like it,
and/or you didn't tell your spouse/partner
you were buying it, then you are stuck
because under these circumstances, there is
"NO RETURNS"
If you receive your merchandise from one of
our Auctions, or from our e-bay store and it
is broke, "Not" working as it was made to do
from the factory, and/or you feel the
Auction description did not accurately
describe what you received then you
are immediately eligible for a
"Return Refund" (item is returned and a
refund is made), and/or a "Return
Replacement" (item is returned and we
replace it with the same type of item equal
to what was purchased or one equal with a
greater value). All returns must be
as follows: The buyer notifies Mall-e dot
net of the problem by e-mail via the e-bay
e-mail system within 24 hrs after receiving
your item. After receiving a
confirmation letter from Mall-e dot net for
the return, the item must be shipped and
postmarked by the shipping agency
within 48 hrs (2 days) from the date of the
confirmation letter for return from Mall-e
dot net.
New vs Used Video Games and Dvd
Movies:
*New Games and/or DVD Movies are still in
the factory cases and might or might not
have the original clear plastic wrap on
them. All New Discs should be totally
spotless and can clearly be identified as
New. Some of our New cases may also have a #
marked on the case for ID purposes at our
home based store, but was never used if
classified as New.
*All used Games and DVD Movie Discs are
classified as used if we know ahead of time
or we have used them in our store. All used
Discs have been cleaned and buffed by a
professional "Disc Cleaning/Repair Machine"
which we own. This machine is made by Vin
Mill and is a leader in the industry. All
discs, New and Used are always be free from
marks and scratches prior to sale. All Discs
are checked prior to shipping also. Used
Discs will have an aluminum swirl type
finish to them and are in like new condition
on the bottom, which is also a trademark of
ours showing the disc was processed by us.
Everyone should also realize, because of the
many different types of DVD players and
their age and condition, DVD movie discs new
and used may sometimes freeze or flicker
from time to time. It is unreasonable for a
DVD to lock up, skip regular or freeze up
however and would not be considered
acceptable under any standard, especially
Mall-e dot net.
Pictures:
* Mall-e dot net will always use actual
pictures of the item (s) being put up for
Auction. Sometimes for various reasons we
will use "Stock" pictures taken usually from
the internet. It should be noted however,
anytime a stock picture is used in our
Auctions or e-bay store ads, it is "NOT" a
representation of the items condition and/or
that the item being sold is new.
Factory Boxes:
* Because of the way in which our
merchandise is purchased via our store, and
the various places, much of our merchandise
is Brand New. Not all of it is delivered to
us still in the factory boxes as it was
packaged from the factory. Therefore, we do
not always have the factory boxes and from
time to time we will ship new merchandise
listed in our Auctions and in our e-bay
store in other type boxes. These boxes are
size appropriate and packaged in a safe
manner according to the U.S. Postal Service
and UPS packing standards.
Shipping & Handling:
* Most of the time Mall-e dot net can ship
out your item within 24hrs after receiving
confirmation of your Payment received. This
is solely based on our volume of sales at
that time. No matter what, Mall-e dot net
has automatic pick ups for shipping 2 times
a week, Wednesdays and Fridays. This will
assure a quality service for our customers
who we want as returning customers who tell
others about Mall-e dot net. ** At this time
we are not able to ship overseas. We are
working to change this situation hopefully
in the near future.
*Mall-e dot net charges the absolute lowest
possible Handling charges it can. We do not
use this "Title" as a place to up the price
of our Auctions for the buyers. Our Handling
charges are very simple, they cover the
costs that are involved in preparing your
merchandise for shipment. Yes, there are
some very real costs associated with packing
merchandise depending on what's being
shipped however, leftover newspapers still
have the same value in my packages to be
shipped as to the ones in my garbage can.
* Mall -e dot net cannot ship to any PO Box
addys. All shipments must at a real address
where if needed someone can sign for the
delivery if needed. Also, we will not ship
to anyone who is not PayPal verified.
* Mall -e dot net will do combined shipping
for multi purchases.
Feedback:
* The Feedback system is the true source
of which both the Sellers and the Buyers
have in which to make the ultimate decision,
who do we "Sell" to, and who do we "Buy"
from. This decision can only be based on one
true aspect, what has been the actual
performance of the individual we are
considering doing business with. Hence we
have the Feedback system and Mall-e dot net
is a strong believer in it. We ask that all
everyone complete the Feedback ratings as
soon as possible once they have received
their merchandise and checked it out. There
are two elements of concern with this
system that we ask the "Buyers to consider.
One, if you do have a problem or concern
with a purchase, give the buyer a realistic
opportunity to correct it before giving
negative feedback and look at the whole
picture.
Example: You buy a item from a seller with a
record of 25 Sales and 100% Feedback so far.
After paying for it and waiting 5 days it
has not yet arrived. Day 6 it still doesn't
arrive and you e-mail the seller about not
receiving the item and that you are pissed
and are now going to give negative feedback.
Day 7 negative feedback is given to the
Seller. The statistics alone of the Seller
should tell the buyer that something has
probably happened beyond the control of the
Seller. Many things can happen to slow up
shipping and we all know that unexpected
situations do occur. None the less, give the
seller a few days to get back with you
(e-bay actually advises giving the seller up
to 2 weeks before taking action). Try
sending a couple of e-mails and give some
time to receive a reply. Try to treat
someone else the way you would want to be
treated. In this example, the Sellers parent
had a stroke and the seller spent 9 days in
the intensive care unit awaiting the
unknown. After 10 days the Seller realized
they had not shipped out the merchandise
after seeing the e-mails and refunded the
money within 24 hrs. Frustrating for the
buyer, yes, however, tragic for the Seller.
Did that deserve a negative feedback? FYI,
this example is our story which is
represented by the "ONE" negative Feedback
which we have gotten.
Insurance:
* We encourage every buyer to "Insure" all
merchandise for Shipping. We are not
responsible for any merchandise in any way
once we have paid the shipping costs and
leave it at the shipping agency. If your
merchandise is damaged during shipping you
should contact "YOUR" local representative
for the shipping agency used and file a
claim. If you are at the location where the
merchandise is being delivered and you can
clearly see damage to your package then you
should have the delivery person either
document the damage at that time and give
you some form of written verification
regarding the damage, or simply refuse to
accept it because of the damage and contact
us via e-mail immediately (that day). Mall-e
dot net will supply any Insurance
verification documents which we have will be
forwarded to you within 24hrs after your
request by e-mail. Do Not Ship the
merchandise back to us. In most instances
the shipping agency will want to pick up the
item from you in order to process your loss
claim. This is your claim and you are the
one who must file the claim. Insurance is
very inexpensive and will make your life and
bank account much at ease by having
insurance if your package becomes damaged
during shipping. Don't blame or cry to us if
you say No.
Payment and Merchandise Identification:
* Because of the people that work hard
every day to find ways in which they can
steal and/or take advantage of all the
honest hard working people, Mall-e dot net
along with e-bay is forced to work just as
hard to protect customers from them. We can
accept Visa/MasterCard along with most all
Debit cards as well. PayPal is always the
choice of payment and has become the biggest
source for payments by most doing business
with e-bay.
* Mall-e dot net has also been forced to pay
extra for more server space in order to
house the enormous amount of extra Pictures
we must now take. These are not the pics
used to display our items in the Auction,
but all the extra pics taken in order to
show special features or markings that we
have made in order to verify "Our
Merchandise" and the merchandise shipped.
Online boosting is out of control and the
only way to combat it is by proving what
merchandise was shipped. (Online Boosting: a
buyer pays for good merchandise and when it
arrives claims it is broke or doesn't work.
The buyer attempts to ship back a "look
alike" item that is broke seeking a full
refund.) Anyone attempting online boosting
will be reported to e-bay, law enforcement,
and the local host for the IP of the
attempted booster.
Warranties and Guarantees:
* As a overall policy, mall-e dot net
does Not give or imply any Warranties and/or
Guarantees for any of its merchandise sold
at Auction and/or in its e-bay Store.
Mall-e dot net does from time to time give
guarantees on some of its merchandise,
however, any time a guarantee is given it
will be spelled out with details in the item
description of the Auction and/or the ad
description in our e-bay store. If it is not
stated in writing, it doesn't exist!
* Warranties are typically given by the
company that made the product you have
purchased. Warranties are never made for,
nor will they cover "Used" merchandise. One
very Important thing to consider when you
buy "New" merchandise from a place like
e-bay. Most of the time people in general do
not register new merchandise they buy no
matter where they bought it. You are the one
responsible for filing or registering your
products which will in turn start and
validate your product warranty. You won't
know or you can't get it unless you try. I
know many people who have bought items at
flea markets and similar places and
registered them for the warranty. Many of
those did need to use it and never had any
trouble, common sense was the basis for the
process.
