Vintage Fisher Price Little People Black Pig













History of this Toy

 

This black pig was made by Fisher Price as apart of the Little People Family Farm #915.  The Farm was Fisher Price's first pack and carry playset.  It included several animals, a silo and other farm equipment.  #915 was produced from 1968 through 1985.  There were many variations on the animals over the years.  Fortunately, these variations now help us date the individual toys from the sets.

Item Description

 

This auction features the Fisher Price Little People Black Pig.  This particular pig was sold between 1976 and 1985 in #915.  The flash has faded the color.  Hi is not silver.  He has no marks or writing.  His face paint is in excellent condition.  His ears are still white.  There are no teeth marks on him anywhere (see pics).

I am a 33 year old stay-at-home mom. I love to find old toys and do the research on them. I am especially interested in anything Jim Henson which has led me to many Fisher Price toys. I am currently trying to sell some of my collection to supplement my Ebay shopping addiction. I find great deals on vintage toys and end up spending too much.
