In this lot, there are eight handcasted and handpainted 54mm Scots Guards figures. These military miniatures were created by my father back in the 1970's. Dad would buy the molds, cast the lead and then handpaint each figure with loving care. Each figure is in a different pose like brandishing a sword, running with a bugle, standing at ease or charging with a rifle. Jackets are bright red with white trim. Trousers are navy blue with a red verticle stripe on each leg. Bearskin hats and boots are black. Belts, gloves, buttons, etc. are white. I will include a bio-sheet on my father and his exceptional craftsmanship with this item.
