1940's Vogue Toddles Composition Indian Doll

Nice display pre-Ginny doll with bent right elbow for the upcoming fall holidays. Indian Maiden bears the "Doll Co." marking on her lower back and retains what I believe to be her original black mohair wig. The outfit is definitely not Vogue, but the dress, headband and moccasins are made of genuine leather. Her necklace matches the intricate beading on the dress.

I find no crazing, peeling or cracks on the composition. It appears that her left eye, lashes and eyebrow may have been touched up. Indian boy (1943) Character and Nursery Rhyme is pictured on page 52 of the pink cover Vogue Encyclopedia.

Payment must be received in 5 days of auction end. Automatic report to ebay's non paying bidder after that. PLEASE DONT BID IF YOU DONT INTEND TO BUY! International please request quote before bidding so you are not surprised at costs when invoiced. If you are on the west coast or close to it and shipping ends up being more than quoted (which sometimes happens as I estimate wrong) It will reflect in invoice. It is usually not more than a few dollars more, unless it is an extra large package.
