Publication and date: Issued in 1895 for "The TIMES Atlas"

Description: A good quality interesting and decorative map showing this wonderful part of the world as it was in 1895. Includes the French Congo, the Marotse Mabunda Empire, Damara Land, British Bechuanaland, Orange Free States, Ukonongo, Mozambique, Cape Colony etc. Also the beautiful island of Madagascar.  Also clear key to European "Posessions" Islands This is an original map that is over 110 years old! An attractive, fascinating map and a wonderful work of art.

 A really superb map, ideal for framing either individually or in a group.

Size: Whole page - c54cm x 41cm / 22" x 16"
Map area: c45cm x 36cm / 18"x 14"

Condition: Good. Full colour. Some slight age related marks, these do not impact on the map.
Being over two pages there is a natural fold down the centre line.
