This Victorian dinner set is transfer printed in dark chocolate brown.

The clear and crisp MELROSE pattern features rich and wildly exotic Japanesque designs with a plethora of native wold rose flowers, rose buds and foliage. A female Baltimore Oriole watches as two butterflies dance in the wind. Ornate geometric scrolls separate a cartouches of Egrets, Grouse, and other wild native birds in their grassy wetland home. The designs are the height of the aesthetic movement. The pattern displays the Victorian eras love of nature.
