Description

This is a lot of 3 original 8 x 10 wire photos from 1962 and 1976

1 - Ranger 3 - blastoff to study the moon. Launchdate 1/26/62

1 - Ranger 4 - Final adjustments on the gold and chrome plated Ranger 4 spacecraft launched to obtain closeup television pictures of the moon and to land an instrument package to measure moonquakes, meteor hits, and temperatures. Launchdate 4/23/62

1 - Crew of the spaceship Soyuz 21. USSR Pilot - Cosmonaut Boris Volynov and flight engineer Vitali Zholobov. AP wirephoto dated 7/7/76. Launchdate was 7/6/76 49 day mission to the Salyut 5 sSpace Station. the mission ended abrubtly to much speculation. Reported to be an emergency evacuation.
