Children's Consignment Shop - Racks/Supplies/Etc.

 Children's consignment store in Grand Rapids, MI is closing, owner looking to sell everything to one person, someone who wants to start their own shop.  The shop was in business for several years - the owner is closing to return to a job with fewer hours and less stress (being your own boss is stressful no matter what you've heard!)  Reasonable offers will be considered.

Buyer will receive all racks & remaining fixtures, all top of the line stuff.  Also all supplies - everything from tag guns to POS system cash register (with Quickbooks POS, you add a computer and it's good to go), more than 14,000 hangers, hundreds of feet of rectangular bar perimeter racks (Knape & Vogt standards from Rogers Department Store when they closed - VERY heavy duty, can't buy better nowadays) , storage racks, etc.  Circle racks (not cheap ones, but the heavy duty kind that can be adjusted for height in thirds), H-racks with doubler bars, extender rods, top baskets, etc.  Display baskets, laundry baskets for holding dropped-off items, tons of miscellaneous including office supplies, etc.  Tag printer, box of tag rolls, merchandise bags, receipt printer, credit card swipe, scanner, etc.  Items are too numerous to list, but initial investment in the shop was over $40k. 

I had been planning to include all store-owned inventory remaining at the time the store closes - BUT, it has nearly all sold.  Unbelievably, but I must have some guardian angels watching out for me because we have virtually nothing left.  Also, I've adjusted the price because several items I'd planned to include (mirrors, bookshelves, computer) have already been sold and will no longer be included.  Price has been adjusted accordingly!!!

If you plan to locate it in Grand Rapids, owner will also supply mailing lists and consignor contact information - you could have your own store up and running in a matter of days.  Current owner is willing to help new owners with setup, answer any questions, etc. for a period of time following purchase.

You would be purchasing everything you need to open your own store, not take over the shop as is - you'd need your own LLC or DBA, licenses, etc. and a sign to get you started.  Owner will have shop closed by Oct 31, 2009 at which time the contents can be yours.
