Rare vintage Japan tin friction car, a 1964(I think) Ford Thunderbird, with an operating convertible top and windows. License plates read SR-649. Huge size - measures 15 inches long, 5 1/2 inches wide. Great shape, with some playwear. Friction drive works fine. Operating convertible top is actuated by one of the knobs under the back bumper. The other knob is for the side windows. The top opens and closes fine, but the windows seem to be stuck going up halfway(one stops, the other doesn't move at all). I do not know the manufacturer of this car in this size - Rico, Ichiko, and Asahi are some possibilities. Don't drive by this one! Nice hard-to-find large Japan tin friction car to add to your collection. International bidders please email first for shipping cost.
