Battery Op Model Ship/Boat Transistor Radio JAPAN 1960s

Offered is a beautiful vintage (probably from the 1960's) Yacht AM Radio that was made in Japan and is all original and in terrific condition. Radio works great! Features original "On/Off/Volume and Tuning knobs, and swinging lifeboat and front anchors. Runs on a 9 Volt battery (not included) which is under the hatch in the bow behind the flag. I took it apart and it is very clean, as you can see in the photos. The only marking I can find is "JAPAN" on the keel by the starboard propellor.

There is a small stain on the starboard side where it appears a sticker or something once was. Also, there may be something missing from the small hole on the Captains Deck (visible in the 6th, 7th & 8th photos). Otherwise, it is in remarkable condition. Measures 12 inches long and about 6 inches from the bottom of the keel to the top of the tower. 2.5 " wide.
