This painting was offered several years ago at Bonham's and Butterfield and did not sell at the time because the reserve was not met.  I am starting it out at $595.00 which $1000's under the auction reserve.  A steal at this price.

The painting is oil on board.  I have not changed the frame it was in but it was removed by the auction house to inspect and photograph the painting.  The paper backing is now removed.  It appears that when it was framed it was shaved on the edges to fit the frame.  It could not have been by much as the signature is positioned perfectly.  It is in excellent condition but might need a cleaning to bring out the full beauty of this fine piece of art, although it looks great as it is

PAYMENT POLICY: Winning bidder must respond to sellers invoice within 48 hours of auction close.   If via pay pal, payment is due at close, with a confirmed Pay Pal address to qualify for insurance offered by Pay Pal.  Electronic checks with Pay Pal take 5 working days to clear and shipment will follow posting.   Payments by mail must be received no later than 10 calendar days from close of auction.   I reserve the right to resell item if payment is not received within allowed time.

SHIPPING:   Items will be shipped upon receipt of Pay Pal payment or after funds clear, via USPS Priority, First Class, or as specified,  w/Delivery Confirmation (see shipping). Domestic USA and International with advance authorization. Items bid on that are to be shipped International must be acceptable for import to that Country.  It is buyer’s responsibility to to be aware of restricted merchandise.  No refunds will be given if item is banned in country of destination.  Combined purchases may be shipped different than described for single purchase in order to accommodate unknown changes.  If you use Pay Pal and your item goes to an unconfirmed address your free insurance coverage will be invalid, refer to Pay Pal policy. I offer insurance to everyone. You will be e-mailed shipping information as soon as your item(s) go out.  Next day air can be arranged prior to close of auction.  In most cases we try to mail purchases no later than 2 days following close of auction.  Sorry we do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.  Claims for damage on insured items will be responsibility of buyer to avoid shipping damaged goods back and forth; claim slip will be forwarded to buyer.  If a parcel arrives damaged, keep all damaged pieces with packaging for claims.

REFUND POLICY:    Refunds will be given only if the item sold was not "as described" and must be returned with invisible identifying mark intact within 7 days of receipt. Do not return items without notifying seller prior to shipment. Return postage may or may not be refunded depending on circumstances.  We are very fair and reasonable and recognize dishonest buying practices. We do the best to describe the items for sale.  Measurements are not precise, if you desire exact measurements please ask and we will do the best possible within reason, including weight on smaller items.  Our items are generally vintage and used, never like the minute produced; handling and wear appear on almost everything.   Be sure to ask questions about the item for sale before you bid if you are in doubt.
