By Acclaimed Artist Steve Leal

Steve Leal was born in 1962 in Venice, California. Entirely self taught, Steve was published at the early age of 21, by a major art publishing company. After publishing his first 2 posters, it was soon evident the public wanted more. Leal went on to print many limited editions of his art, as well as have many one man shows throughout the world. Steve Leal soon began to work in other creative venues.

In 1989 and 1990 he designed and illustrated more then 180 illustrations of pop stars and celebrities for the American Music Awards, which were used as backdrops throughout the show. Leal continues to design posters and images for the fine art market as well as the commercial market. Designing products for stores like Target, Linens and Things and many other major stores.

After painting murals in a friends' home, requests for more came in from other clients. Leal soon found another creative venue which soon grew into a new aspect of his work. Diversified, creative, explorative, and passionate about his work, Steve Leal continues to enrich the surroundings of those who embrace his work.
