Rose gold (purple gold) consists with real yellow gold and platinum. The setting of the item is 18k rose gold vermeil with STAMP 18K RGP (18K rolled gold plated).STAMP on chain only. Gold vermeil falls under U.S. Government guidelines and consists of a core of solid sterling silver with 120 Layers! of real 18k Gold and a rhodium finish. So the gold will not tarnish or wear off with normal use like with electroplating over a base metal used in costume jewelry.
