BUT,  I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS REALLY CALLED OTHER THAN A LOCK WITHOUT A KEY...   AND ITS READY FOR YOUR LOCK COLLECTION.        

THE LOCK IS ABOUT 1 7/8 INCHES TOP TO BOTTOM... ABOUT 1 5/8 INCHES SIDE TO SIDE AND ABOUT AN 7/8 INCHES THICK AT THE THICKEST POINT.....  CHECK OUT THE PICTURES AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CONTACT ME VIA EBAY AND I WILL TRY TO ANSWER THEM..
