ART OF THE NORTHWEST COAST INDIAN From The Lasser Collection: 1972 Exhibit, Boris Mirski Gallery, Boston, Massachusetts Copyright 1972 By Leonard Lasser, Paper Cover, 6 by 9 inches, 32 pages. This appears perfect inside and out!

This exhibit catalog lists many Native American Indian artifacts and art objects and includes photographs for approximately thirty items including masks, aprons, figures, rattle, etc. A nice find!

IMPORTANT SHIP MODELS MARINE PAINTINGS AND RELICS: The Collections Of THE RIGHT HON. THE EARL HOWE, Woodlands, Uxbridge, England And The Late THOMAS CROWTHERS, Fulham, London, England

THE ANDERSON GALLERIES, 489 Park Avenue at Fifty-ninth Street, New York, Sale Number 1891 Published ?, I can’t find a year but am guessing maybe between the early 1920s to 1940s... but that is a guess. Paper Cover, 7 1/2 by 10 inches, 58 pages. The pages of this catalogue appear perfect. The cover is very good.

There are 221 entries and I counted 25 black and white photographs of antique items relating to maritime history. They are mainly of paintings and old ship models, but there are a few other interesting items.

TWO: THE SOCIETY OF ILLUSTRATORS ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION CATALOGS (1980 and 1981) Soft Covers, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, 14 and 24 pages respectively. The pages of these catalogs are just about perfect. The covers show some light shuffle wear. One has a spot on the bottom corner. One has some roughness on the top of the back cover. It is minor.

Each show catalog lists and pictures (in small pictures) over 140 work of art for the Society’s annual scholarship competition.

LOOKING AT WILLIAM BRADFORD: SAILING SHIPS & ARCTIC SEAS Family Exhibition Guide Exhibition Guide, (no date), Paper Cover, 7 by 8 ½ inches, 12 pages. The pages of this publication are perfect. The cover shows just a little bending near the spine.

This piece was produced by the education department of the New Bedford Whaling Museum and shows, visually and with text, how to learn to look at some paintings by nautical artist William Bradford. Bradford was from New England. More specifically, he was from Fairhaven, Massachusetts near New Bedford, the former whaling capital of the world.

Sotheby’s FINE OLD MASTER PAINTINGS (New York Wednesday, March 13, 1985) Auction Catalog, 8 1/4 by 10 5/8 inches, approximately 112 pages. The pages of this catalogue are very good. The cover shows some shuffle wear and the back has a bend.

194 paintings by master artists are listed, described and estimates made. Many, many are photographed in black and white. Nice, European painting reference.
