Laptop with Cord for repair or parts

You are looking at a Compaq Presario 2100 laptop and cord.  This computer gets power and shows the Compaq screen but will not boot all the way.  When you try to boot the machine, it says, "Media test failure, operating system not found."  At one time we thought the power jack was not working so we bought a new one and soldered it on to the motherboard.  Now the machine gets power, but as I said above, it will not load all the way.  The screen is intact.   The keyboard is missing the "1" key and the hyphen key. The hinges work very well.  The sticker on the bottom is for XP Home.

Many of the other parts appear good.  I am sure you can use this to repair other machines.

This computer is being sold as is.
