         We found this at an estate sale in a small community in central Ks.  The things at this sale was from a woman of 101 yr. old.  Her estate had many items that had belonged to her Mother and her Grandmother.  

       These cake savers used to be on many brides tables.  It was a way to save her piece of cake.  This is a very pretty clear glass and has gold trim on the lid corners and pedistal bottom.  I would age this in the 1930's to early 40's.  There is no damage on this lovely wedding saver.  6 1/2" x 4".
