Antique 1920 Milwaukee Chair Co. Wood Banker's Chair. NO RESERVE. This is a functional (not just a collector's) item and all mechanisms are fully operational - I've been using in my home office for the past year and am only selling because I just bought the Emeco chair of my dreams (which is actually remarkably similar). This chair appears to be in original unfinished good condition. Solid wood (not sure what kind) and mechanical components look like they're made of iron. Wooden slat back, adjustable tilt/swivel, caster wheels - seems pretty advanced for a design that was patented in 1814. Has the following markings painted on the bottom of the chair: "12/23/20 C" (which I assume is the date of manufacture) and "I-C". The iron "ring" at the base of the chair says "MILWAUKEE CHAIR CO. PAT.OCT.20.1814". I did not to refinish (or clean it too much) during my use to maintain its value though it would be a beautiful piece refinished. I don't know much about antiques - my lack of interest/knowledge is your opportunity. I saw only one other (almost-identical) chair listed for sale on ebay for $480. I am a 100% SELLER - I've made every effort to describe this item accurately, will package safely and ship promptly. Any questions please let me know. Thank you for looking!
