Whimsical handpainted sand dollar Christmas ornament from Hawaii, signed by the artist Ronnie Woodard and dated ''Maui 1984''. The bright painting features barefoot Santa Claus riding a happy dolphin, along with the words ''Mele Kalikimaka'' (Merry Christmas). Original Paper certificate is included explaining the Hawaiian sand dollar legend and its significance to Christianity. The 3 1/2'' ornament is in excellent gently used condition with no wear or damage. A fine addition to your holiday display or Hawaiian sea shell art collection.
