This is a nice framed painted Silhouette of a  young Victorian Lady, she is wearing her hair in a bun and is wearing a Dress with a Lace Collar. From the style I believe is it early Victorian around 1840. The Silhouette is framed behind Glass with a decorative Brass rim in a Black painted  frame which has  a circular brass hanger at the top.The Brass Clasp holding the ring is in the form of a Rose, Thistle, Shamrock and Leek which I believe symbolizes the Union of the United Kingdom.The Silhouette is in good condition,there is some discolourationto the Brass frame. 

 Frame  11cms wide,13cms high, Picture is 7.5cms high and 5.75cms wide
