In the category section I marked "1970 to Now."  I don't know the vintage for certain, as it was in my uncle's estate.  Unfortunately the chess pieces were not found.

The pictures show it all.  The playing surface is clean and not pitted or cracked.  It weighs 7 pounds 6 ounces so it is sturdy and won't move around on your table.  It is 5/8" thick.  It is an attractive brown and white/translucent marble coloring.  The back is another stone surface, but I can't tell whether it is the back of the polished marble or a different surface.  Anyway it is built to last a long time!  There is a very small hole on the back in a caulking-like area and it looks like the marble playing surface and the stone underneath are two different materials.
