## Awesome Set of 48 9/16" marbles in Victorian Box ##

This is a very neat set of marbles. All of the marbles measure 9/16ths in diameter. Smaller than regulation but bigger than a peewee. Believe it or not this set was harder to put together than a peewee set. I have owned it for years, here is your chance to take it from me. Neat old Victorian era hand painted box. Not original to the marbles, but a neat display. Please ignore the dust on the marbles, should have cleaned them. Ok, on the the mibs. Starting in the top left hand corner.

3. Peltier Translucent blue rainbo, mint

4. Peltier orange ribbons with translucent milky base, mint

5. Peltier Green glass rainbo white and red ribbons, mint

6. Peltier Peerless patch blue base with red, overall pinpricking near mint-

7. Peltier Wispy green base rainbow with red, mint with some surfaced air bubbles

8. Peltier Green glass rainbo white and red ribbons, some pricking near mint+

9. Opposing white ribbons on surface of amber bubble filled matrix, MArble King? mint

10. Peltier Watermelon bright green with red bands mint-

11. Peltier Rainbo white base with some clear areas translucent rust colored ribbons, mint

12. Peltier Orange and black tiger with aventurine, some overall scattered nicks, near mint -

13. Interesting clear based marble with swirls of blue throughout, not sure maker, mint-

14. Swirl transparent orange, some clear and white base Probably Alley, mint-

15. Green glass with white swirls probably Ravenswood, couple subsurface moons, near mint

16. Blue and white slag most likely Akro Agate, a few pricks, near mint+

17. MAster MArble Sunburst, grays, greens blue and some clear, mint-

19. Peltier green glass with lots of red and white on surface, near mint

22. Master Marble Sunburst type, green glass and white (white looks green, colored glass over the white, mint

23. Fantastic swirl with fat orange outlined with white on clear base, Ravenswood? near mint+

24. Peltier green slag. Great spiraling and feathering and great example in any size, mint

25. Green and white swirl, Alley? Near mint+

26. Akro Agate Oxblood, green and oxblood patch on translucent base, near mint

27. Blue and white swirl, Alley, Near mint

28. Red Slag Akro Agate, mint-

29. CHristensen Yellow and orange swirl, near mint (overall ticks)

30. Christensen Striped opaque, green base orange/brown stripes, mint-

31. White swirls in a greenish gray base, Ravenswood, mint

32. Dark base, appears black no light thru and white, Alley? mint-

33. Purple and white swirl, attributed to Akro although many makers, near mint+

34. Orange/brown and some translucent and blending on white Ravenswood, near mint

35. Many shades of green on white, pattern reminds me of Christensen, maybe Ravenswood, near mint+

36. Ravenswood browns, tans, clear and of-white, mint

37. Transparent green and translucent white, Ravenswood? mint-

41. White green and oxblood, A lot of oxblood for this type, Once thought Akro, now maybe Alley, as made crease mint-

42. Akro Agate Blue-blue corkscrew. BLue transparent glass with a spiral of pale blue going into the marble. mint

43. Akro Agate corkscrew, yellow and blue with some blending at the edges. near mint+ (light wear)

If you are still with me at this point, you realize there are some nice one hiding in here. Also, I tried to be conservative on the grading so that if anything they will be nicer than you expect.
