SHELF STANDARD No bolts, no nails, no screw, no glue nor any such fastening devices was the objective. This design was created over ten years ago for a class at Pratt Institute during Troy-Moses' junior year when he pushed furniture design to new levels by introducing the use of tension to maintain balance. The more burdened the shelf is the better it performs as loads travel to the apex; reminiscent of suspension bridges. This was Troy-Moses' second take on how an architect designs furniture. Features: No tools required for easy assembly Breaks down flat Extremely light Patent Pending |
