Borosilicate Vortex Style, Midnight Folded Fume Marble
 

Description

The marble is 43 mm or 1 11/16" diameter.

Made with Glass Alchemy, Northstar, and Schott Artistic borosilicate glass.

All of my work is properly annealed using a digital ramping controller.

This marble is a vortex style with complex folded and spun gold fuming inside showing very nice color against a black interior. The outer layer has an array of galaxies and nebulas. I hope the photo sequence of the marble rotating gives you a good overall visual. It is signed on the edge "WCG 09".

About the artist

Bill Grout is a self represented artist who has been making glass beads and other torch work full time since 1993. My home and glass working studio is located in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana, where I work with my talented wife Rae, who also makes wonderful lampwork beads. Some of you will recognize Rae as 'Sonshyne', online and at auction. I guarantee my work, and will exchange or refund your purchase within 14 days if you are not completely satisfied. Shipping
Items are sent 1st class mail for $3.00 (delivery confirmation included) per auction set, or you may choose to pay $5.00 for Priority mail. Insurance may be added for an additional $1.50.  Combined shipping is $1.00 more for each marble.

International Buyers – Please Note:
Items sent outside of the USA will be $6.00 first class mail with no tracking or insurance; basically your risk, except for Canada which is $4.00 for basic first class mail. For $18 sets can be sent registered mail with insurance and traceable if lost or delayed.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
