UP FOR AUCTION IS A VINTAGE CAST IRON CHRISTMAS TREE STAND.  I AM ASSUMING IT WAS MADE IN THE 1930's.  THERE ARE 8 LIGHTS ON THE OUTER EDGE AND THEY WORK WHEN THE TREE STAND IS PLUGGED IN.  THERE ARE ALSO 2 OUTLET PLUGS THAT CAN BE USED FOR OTHER ITEMS.  THE PAINT LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL AND IS IN FAIRLY GOOD CONDITION.  AS YOU CAN SEE THE CONDITION IN THE PICTURES, IT IS STILL IN RATHER GOOD USED CONDITION WITH SOME RUSTING ON THE BOTTOM SIDE.  TWO OF THE SOCKETS ARE LOOSE AND PROBABLY CAN BE ADJUSTED TO STAY IN HOLE.  IT IS DECORATED WITH POINSETTIAS AROUND THE BASE. THIS PIECE IS HEAVY WEIGHING ABOUT 16 POUNDS BEFORE PACKING.  THE TREE STAND MEASURES 13 1/2" ACROSS THE BASE, 6" HIGH AND THE HOLE DIAMETER IS 3 1/4".  WHAT A GREAT VINTAGE TREE STAND TO PLACE YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE IN.  JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS,  HOHOHO!!!
