Just look at that face! Can you imagine a dog having more fun than riding along on a xylophone, just plunking away to his heart's content? Fido Zilo was made by Fisher Price between 1955 and 1958. For its age this particular toy is looking remarkably young and fit. While the paper is crinkling, it is all there with very little wear on the edges. The colors are bright. Fido still plays his xylophone beautifully (or maybe we should say... he tinkles along)! One bar of the xylophone has a few tiny spots that might be the beginnings of corrosion. And the original string is only a short memory. A bit of it hangs from the front, but in order for the toy to be pulled, someone has attached a vinyl type string to the front with a button at the end. Altogether a very nice example of this somewhat hard-to-find Fisher Price toy! [0270]
