Thanks you for selecting my site for your interest in Spirographs. I sell many items but my specialty as an artist is in vintage Spirographs. The sets which have replacement pens are complete and ready to use as soon as you receive it. The pens which originally came with the Spirograph set are no longer produced as well as the sets themselves. I have found that just any old pen will not fit the gears holes in these sets and have spent much time searching for compatible pens which do and am passing it along to you for your convenience. I hope your family will enjoy creating your own art and have fun doing it.
