Hello, and thank you for looking at our item, we are a retired couple and times have gotten a bit tight and one of our children suggested we try selling a few items on ebay so here we are :)
My husband has collected model kits and related items for years and we have 100's I have finally convinced him to part with, so I get my spare room back (Let me tell you I'm excited about that!) So I felt it was only fair of me to also list a few of my items on here as well.

Item Description:
This auction is for a vintage Built PBY-5 Catalina Flying Boat Model Plane.
My husband says he remembers building it a very long time ago but he doesnt remember exactly when. (He thinks in the 1960's) (If you by chance have any information on this model we would love to learn more about it)
The model comes as shown, It appears to us to be complete other then we did notice one of the landing gear assemblies we think came loose and is in the body of the plane (It is missing but we do hear a part rattle inside of the plane body and think it is the wheel assembly, but we are not 100 percent sure)
It is hard to be totally sure there isnt some small piece or two missing but we didnt see anything else other then the above mentioned wheel. (We are hoping the pictures will help you with any additional information)
This was not "Pro Built" but my husband built models over several different time periods (1950's - 1990's)
This is a fairly big model with a wingspan of aprx. 17 inches
As with any other vintage model, some parts may come off during shipping and need to be reglued but we do pack very carefully and generally it is very minimal if any at all.
It isnt "perfect" but it really is a very nice old vintage model. this would make a great addition to add to any collection and it displays wonderfully.
If you love these old model planes this is the model for you! (It is a bit dusty but other then that it looks pretty decent (Could be a perfect restoration project or display as is!) Please see pictures for additional information)

US Shipping:
We use USPS parcel post with Tracking.
We will happily combine shipping on multiple auctions that you win within the same 3 day period to save on shipping costs for you if desired. Items normally ship within 24-48 hours after receiving cleared payment
International Shipping:
International payments must be made via paypal.
International shipping will be via USPS Priority mail only. Buyer will pay only EXACT shipping costs to be determined by the USPS postal office based on your country and address.
Invoice will be sent to buyer AFTER package is brought to post office to determine exact shipping costs (Normally within 48 hours of auction end)
