Ok, this is my most wonderful and most weird pieces of trench art. Found in the prairies of Illinois, this is a good luck trench art necklace. Made of all scrap pieces, measuring 16 inches long, it has a copper 1903 indian head penny attached to it, a scrap piece of metal that says July 1914 and 10 and 19 (october 19?) on one side- and KID, a cross, an anchor and Tic Kid? Love to figure out what it means... did he have a Kid on October 19? Was it his birthday? Big battle? Also has a little metal latch, that he has bent into an anchor shape. Could have been worn as a fob, or a necklace- whichever, this is really a piece of Trench Art Folky goodness. Low opening bid in hopes it makes it to a good new home, opening bid just .99 cents. Shipping is just $3. |
