Repurposed, Recycled, Bulletin Board Set

Art You Can Use... I handcrafted this memo board from thick slices of champagne corks and then striped it with wine corks. Five push pins are fashioned out of beads and buttons and are perfect with the cherry frame.

The frame measures 15-1/2" x 12-1/2". The back is finished (in a custom frame shop style) and ready to hang vertically/portrait. (I'll be happy to change it to a horizontal hang if that better suits your needs).  Each cork is carefully selected for fit and individually glued to the rigid backing.  I then applied a protective finish to them and added another coat of finish to the frame.

Why settle for a boring old bulletin board (made overseas by some polluting factory) when you can have this practical piece that is also a wonderful, handcrafted work of art?
